Ellie's Birthday {Part 2}

A HUGE thanks goes out to EVERYONE who came and celebrated with us! Ellie had tons of fun and we hope you did, too! And, of course, an even BIGGER THANKS goes to all who helped plan this fun party with me!! You're the best. Oh! And I cannot forget, an special thanks to her "Auntie" Claire, who gave her this book a year ago on her first birthday ;-)

Ellie's Birthday {Part 1}

Ellie's 2nd birthday party was a hit! Here's what her invites looked like. They were designed by yours truly (of course)! What do you think? Ellie LOVES anything underwater related! I wouldn't be surprised if she'll want another "Under the Sea" themed party in the future. Mermaid inspired, perhaps?

We based the party off of her favorite book, "I'm the Biggest Thing in the Ocean". I love how her favorite animals , right now, are squids and octopuses! If you haven't read this adorable book, yet, watch an animation made from it below! Or click here to purchase it on Amazon. It's too darn cute.

Fam Jam! Our Visit to Potter's Ranch

A few weeks ago, marked the 14th year anniversary of Potter's Ranch being open! So they had a festival to celebrate and we attended! There were tons of fun things to do...like play on the inflatable slides, win prizes playing the carnival games, children's arts and crafts, paintball, zip lining, vendor booths and more! You should definitely check this place out, if you haven't yet! Ellie was exhausted afterwards...and so was this preggo mama!! It's getting so hard for me to walk around all day :(

Once we arrived, we stopped at the Magno Studios booth aka my dad's art booth! We discovered Potter's Ranch through him, because he received commission to paint one of the programmer's portraits with her horse! He was then asked to show his work at this event ;) Here's what his booth looked like!

Off to the petting zoo to see the animals like... the horses, rabbits, and... SNAKES!! hehe This girl wasn't afraid of them :)

Look at how she's touching the railing. I'm not sure if the railing was hot or if she was being "dainty". Silly girl. Pinky up!

Time to go to the arts & crafts center!

Wait. There's more!? Yup. It's game time...

And the day came to an end...
