Prepping Sketchbook Pages

Somewhere, I've found the time to work on my Art-House Co-op sketchbook this past week! If you're wondering what this sketchbook is all about, click here to read about it from one of my previous posts. The theme I have chosen to document is my recent pregnancy experience since I was off and on bed rest and in the hospital throughout it. Here's a sneak peek of a few pages I've prepped so far. The gridded pages (with red lines) are actual fetal monitor papers from the hospital! One of my nurses gave a huge stack of blank sheets for me to use. Can't wait to share more.

Expressions of A Lil' Stinker Boy

These little bebes love to sleep side by side. That's actually when they sleep the best. I really enjoy watching them interact with one another. Judging by Vincent's silly little facial expressions, someone's going to be just like his dad... Just thought I'd share this up close and personal perspective. Have a great Sunday!

Introducing Our New Arrivals

Sorry for the late post...we've kinda had our hands full!
Now introducing our newest arrivals...

After being put on bed rest* at home (since 28 weeks) and being admitted in the hospital for two straight weeks, our healthy fraternal twin babies have finally arrived! Vincent and Jazlene were welcomed to the world, on the day before Thanksgiving this year ;) There's so much to be thankful for. We have sincerely appreciated all of your prayers and support!!

Here are a few pictures from our blurry days and nights here at home...

I'll be sad when Mark has to go back to work :( He has been the MOST AMAZING husband anyone could ask for. What TREMENDOUS help he has given us throughout this whole experience. Through sickness and in health, I know he will always be there for us and I'll always be there for them, in return. I LOVE you, Mahal!! You're the best. We're so blessed! Here's to our new life as a family of five. I still cannot believe I'm saying that.

*Side Note (regarding bed rest): Since I was on strict bed rest for 2 straight weeks, at the hospital, I decided to document some of my experience there. I doodled in my Art House Co-op sketchbook about it. Posts depicting some of these entries to come. Stay tuned ;)
