Our First City Flea

Having a booth and selling handmade products has always been a dream of ours. So when we got accepted to sell at The City Flea this summer, we were BEYOND thrilled! This past Saturday was our first show and it was definitely an experience to remember. The weather was great, we found the perfect location to set up our booth (with a beautiful view of Music Hall) and we met tons of great people....we even saw a lot of familiar faces, too. It was a success! Thanks for the support friends! You know who you are. It feels awesome to be a part of this local community that is creative and inspiring.

Here are several snapshots of our booth set-up from Saturday. Thanks mom, for the great captures!

Here's a little Vine video I made while setting up... before the rush came in.

Since it was our first time selling at an event like this, we had little to no clue what to expect! We have done our research, but there's still so much to learn. We've been to several craft shows as customers, but have never been behind the table before. It was new and exciting! Jumping right in made us incredibly nervous...but in the best way possible. Improvements are in the works and we cannot wait until our next shows in August and September. Hope to see you all there!

A HUGE thanks goes out to our dad, mom, grandma and spouses. Their feedback, advice, help and support have been incredibly AMAZING throughout this whole experience. Words cannot express how grateful and blessed we are to have them in our lives as we work towards something we are truly passionate about. Thanks for all your support! We're so excited for the things to come.

Side note: To all those veteran craft show and flea market sellers, are there any words of wisdom you can share with rookies out there seeking advice? We'd love to hear from you. Much appreciated :)

  2. You two (and your booth, and your wares), look AMAZEBALLS. Maybe you could rock Bloomington! There is a huge arts fair every year for labor day...
